allTHINGS Book Vol II
allTHINGS Book Vol II
In this follow-up to her debut collection of personal essays, allTHINGS Vol. I, Dwyer continues to share deeply introspective thoughts across a variety of familiar themes including apologies, nostalgia, loss, living through a pandemic, and some of the lighter parts of life.
While the themes of allTHINGS Vol. II are many, they are bound together by a single common thread: Dwyer’s willingness to be completely vulnerable and bare all about her life experiences. Reading these inviting and approachable essays—especially during a time of what feels like hopeless discord—gives voice to the similar thoughts or long-forgotten memories that may be racing through your own mind. A few may elicit a knowing smile or even a chuckle.
Either way, it’s good to feel all the things—and feel a little less alone—with Dwyer as an affecting guide.
